Four Powerful Tips to Improve Your Personality

Four Powerful Tips to Improve Your Personality

One of the goals of everyone is to improve their personality. The principle that a good personality is the foundation for success in any field has found universal acceptance. Of all the training programs being conducted in the world, personality development programs are among the most sought after. While a practical training program can be very effective in changing you for the better in many ways, there are some simple practical methods that anyone can use to bring about the improvements they are looking for. I am listing out four powerful tips that will help you remold yourself as a more powerful person.
1) Keep your health in good condition
Not many people realize that good health is the foundation for a strong personality. Taking care of your health is not difficult. You just have to follow some basic rules like paying attention to hygiene factors in your day to day life, controlling your diet and giving your body the activity it needs. Many people realize that they have neglected their health too late to bring their health back to a normal condition. Health is the foremost factor in shaping your physical personality.

2) Live with positive thoughts
This may appear a difficult advice to follow but nothing can be easier than remaining positive in your outlook. It is in your powers to tell yourself that things will get better however difficult the situation you are facing may appear to be. You don't lose anything by sticking to your belief hat you are going to succeed in your efforts.

3) Be among people who think positive
Take care to be in the midst of people who think positive and talk positive. Being among positive people will infuse a lot of positive energy into you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of pessimists around. Guard against them by keeping a distance from them. Even if they are close to you in your family or organization, you can keep away from them in your mind by telling yourself that you will not be influenced by their thoughts and words. You may love them but should still be wary of their negative influence.

4) Reinforce your positivity by reading motivational books or listening to inspiring speeches
You may succeed in developing a positive mentality but may find it difficult to sustain it over a period of time. To sustain your positive state of mind, you have to get your positive state reinforced by reading books, listening to talks, participating in seminars etc.

Knowledge And Wisdom

Knowledge And Wisdom

Knowledge is the foundation of understanding to know Creator and creational realities within this existence and beyond. If we analyze its core concept and dive deep into its meaning, then we will arrive at a definite conclusion. It leads to asking a question covering each and everything within our observation and imagination. It is a fact that question is the key to knowledge. Great philosopher Plato famously defined knowledge as, "justified true belief, though well-justified true belief." In order to understand comprehensively then it needs considerable amount of time and scholarly discussion in academic environments.
It is also a fact that philosophy's core is the theory of knowledge. Imam Jaffer-e-Sadiq says that knowledge is the comrade of a faithful believer. Therefore, knowledge is defined philosophically, which is based on justification, truth and believe. Hence, it is mandatory and obligatory that the seeker of knowledge should adopt a virtuous path and be a firm believer and justifies his actions and deeds.
Wisdom is defined as the ability to think and act using knowledge. It is an important virtue affecting our performance leading to transformation of personality. Hence, the personality reflects maturity of mind and conduct of a character establishing a reputable stature. It is important to note that all these factors of knowledge and wisdom are solely dependent on truth and honesty. It is also significant that heart and mind are synchronized both in actions and deeds, thereby, culminating in a state of contentment. Anything other than truth and honesty is the perversion of knowledge and wisdom.

The Purpose of Life Is Preparation

The Purpose of Life Is Preparation

PRESSURE is an inordinate device doing many things. It forces us to respond, it creates impetus to adjust and grow, it teaches us what to avoid in future, and it can bring us to a place of utter surrender. There are many pressures that work for God's purposes in our lives that we have no idea about. Let's look at pressure as the catalyst for growth and performance through the purifying glory of preparation.
Every hurt, betrayal, disappointment, frustration, denial, rejection, and lie is pressure intended to compel us to prepare. To respond best is to reflect over what happened, take the pain within ourselves, with God resident, and absorb the pressure in the pain - a meditative activity.
We finish with this prayer: "Lord, make me better. Use this for my learning. Help me to learn what I need to learn. Help me convert the darkness I'm feeling into light for benefit. Compel me to not look at what the other party should do. Make this grief I feel part of my preparation for the greater thing coming. Help me to one day be able to thank you for this pain I now feel."
What we then carry about with us is the purpose that will ever drive our lives in an inspiring direction: God is active, right here, right now, in preparing us for the greater thing. We don't need to know what the greater thing coming is. Indeed, it can only harm us to know. But we trust his purposes in grooming us upon our purpose.
When we are focused on our purpose - to hone in on our preparation - we are able to more fully accept our lives, as they are, in all humility. God's not finished yet.
Denzel Washington once said, "Luck is where opportunity meets preparation." In other words, there is no such thing as luck. But, in being diligent around preparation, in waiting patiently for the appropriate time, a person creates something out of the opportunity they are inevitably presented.
Opportunity is inevitable. Our role in the waiting is one of preparation. All good thing have their time. To each good thing is appointed a season.

Three reminders that God's got this:
1. He's not finished with us.
2. He's not finished with them.
3. He's not finished with the situation.
God is preparing us all. If we will relax from our ambitious zest a little in life and focus simply on what God is doing, we'll be amazed at the peace and joy that will flood in by the agency of the Holy Spirit.
